I won’t repeat what she said, especially when she’s said it better than I probably could. But I do find it surprising that authors sometimes fret over how they’re “supposed” to write; as if there’s a right way or a wrong way to do it. You can prick your finger and write in blood if you want to. Whatever method allows you to be your most creative and open and productive is the one you should use. Right? I mean, write.
